Before the festival kicks, the Kentuckiana Pride Parade heads down Main Street from Floyd Street to 5th Street, ends at the Belvedere. Immediately following the parade, Kentuckiana Pride Festival opens on the Belvedere. To register for a booth in the festival, visit the main festival page. Participants

The Kentuckiana Pride Parade is intended for the entire community, please join us. Your group should designate a leader who should complete an entrance form for your group. Read the information below before submitting your entrance form.

The contact person indicated on the registration form will be the primary point of contact and must be available to assist the parade coordinators. Your representative will help with coordination of vehicle and group setup and controlling the flow of their float or group during the parade. Your representative must report at the check-in point for entry verification no earlier than 6:00 PM. You must register to be in the line-up and pre-pay online.

We encourage groups to showcase their organizations by entering a float or organizing a group of walkers. This parade gives you an opportunity to promote yourselves in front of our community. All cars and vehicles must be registered as floats. A vehicle pulling a float is counted as one float.

Each organization is a payable group. Non-profit organizations must pay $35; all others must pay $70.  After June 1, 2017 a $25.00 late fee will be added.

Participants should wear attire appropriate for a family atmosphere.

Nudity is not permitted.

Do not interact with protesters.

Immediately report incidents that could threaten the safety or positive atmosphere of the event to a parade coordinator.

Parade coordinators will be on hand to help.

Pay attention to and follow all instructions and directions given by parade coordinators.

Vehicles may not be unloaded at the Belvedere, but should continue past sixth street.

Under no circumstances may items be thrown to the crowd.

Keep at least 10 feet between your vehicle and the group ahead of you.

Due to extensive construction and road closures in our normal parade route, the staging area and route have changed. Additional information will be provided at a later date.
